Claudine Barretto (born July 20, 1979) is a Filipino television and film actress.
Career
In 1992, she was discovered by Douglas Quijano. Barretto got a major break when she was cast as one of the mainstays of the top-rating youth-oriented show, Ang TV. When Home Along Da Riles was launched with the comedic actor, Dolphy, Barretto was cast as Dolphy's daughter, Bing. After that sitcom, she became a part of Oki Doki Doc starring Aga Muhlach, where she played the sister of Agot Isidro.
Barretto starred in three consecutive soap operas. Mula Sa Puso, starring as the rich heiress, Via, opposite the late Rico Yan; next was the two-year running Saan Ka Man Naroroon and Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan where she played the role of Angeline Montenegro. In 2004, she starred in Marina, where she played a role of a mermaid. In Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin, Barretto played the role of Nea Fontanilla. In Walang Kapalit, she plays the role of Melanie Borromeo. As part of the Susan Roces Cinema Collection, Barretto did the Maligno; a sineserye. Barretto is in the cast of Iisa Pa Lamang.
