WSIE is the all jazz format in the Greater St. Louis area. It is a non-commercial public radio station and an affiliate of National Public Radio. WSIE is a 50,000-watt station (88.7FM), owned and operated by Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois. WSIE broadcast from its studios on the campus of Southern Illinois University.

WSIE has always been a training ground for students. Among broadcasters who received training at WSIE are Frank O.
